I have to say the M3 is much more fun to drive. Obviously a modded TT is going to out-accelerate it, but even in my old z which was modded quite heavily, I think this is more fun to drive. Its very refined, comfortable but if pressed, the handling is awesome and brakes are phenomenal right out of the box. The car loves being anywhere above 4k rpm. Its almost boring below that. It has no problem ripping up to 8k+ rpms though. In all honesty, the only area I see the Z taking it is in hp. Plus, you're dealing with a car that at worst, is still 6 years newer. And if you went w/ smg, its certainly something to get used to, but those shifts in s6 are intoxicating :) Looks are obviously subjective. Probably not a popular answer here, but thats my opinion. With that said, make sure the maintenance is up to date. It can be costly once its out of bmw's maintenance program ;)
